Sea Smart has put together a list of ways you can help the ocean this Holiday sea-son.
1. DONATE TO SEA SMART
By Donating to Sea Smart, you are giving a gift that lasts a lifetime. A donation not only helps our oceans but inspires the next generation. 100% of donations go directly to empowering kids to become ocean champions and make powerful waves of change around the world. All donations will also be issued a tax receipt.
2. BUY AN OCEAN FRIENDLY GIFT
Are you looking to gift a physical gift? You can still directly help our oceans by purchasing an ocean-friendly gift. Sea Smart has a variety of ocean-friendly gifts including Ocean Education Game, a cool Ocean Explorer youth t-shirt, a bamboo utensil set, and more! All proceeds from sales go towards our Bursary Fund to support students with financial need.
3. VOLUNTEER
We know this year has been hard in many ways, including financially. If you don’t have the funds to support Sea Smart, you can donate in another way - with your time! Volunteers play a vital part in furthering the work of Sea Smart. They bring a unique perspective, a variety of skills, and unmatched enthusiasm to protect our oceans and inspire our youth. We're looking for passionate, reliable volunteers who want to mentor youth and learn exciting news about our oceans from a real marine biologist!
4.FUNDRAISE
Fundraising with Sea Smart is a great way to connect with your friends, family, school, and community to empower youth to take action for our oceans. 100% of the funds you raise power Sea Smart’s mission to deliver fun, solutions-based programs that inspire kids to protect our oceans. Your donations go towards our Bursary Fund which provides a life-changing experience to the students who need it most.
