What group leaders are saying

  • "Dr. Leung used a variety of fun, creative teaching techniques to engage with the girls about plastic pollution. The girls loved the experience...you could tell they really got the message that plastic pollution is a big problem that affects us all, but that it's a problem that we can all do something about. The girls will all be better environmental champions because of what they learned from Dr. Leung."

    Charly, Girl Guide Leader

  • “Sea Smart has always been flexible and understanding of the complex needs of our participants. Whether running workshops for our afterschool programs, or beach clean ups during our summer break program, Sea Smart staff have always adjusted curriculum whenever necessary to ensure the success of the program and participants. Sea Smart curriculum encourages curiosity and questioning, making our participants feel like their ideas and opinions matter. The goals and values of Sea Smart and KidSafe are strongly aligned, as we are both committed to empowering youth and kids to engage with the world around them and be inspired to grow and create change.”
